Built for the Tone in Your Head

Bogner started the way most obsessions do — someone couldn’t find exactly what they were looking for, so they built it themselves. Eckehard Bogner moved from Germany to Los Angeles in the 1980s and started modifying amps out of a garage, chasing sounds that the big manufacturers weren’t making. Word spread the way it always does with gear that actually delivers: one guitarist told another.

The amps aren’t built around specs sheets or focus groups. Each design comes from a pretty simple question — what does this need to sound like? That’s led to a lineup that covers a lot of ground without feeling scattered: from the raw, open-throated breakup of the Shiva to the layered complexity of the Ecstasy, each model has its own character. You don’t buy a Bogner because it does everything. You buy it because it does your thing better than anything else you’ve tried.

There’s still a hands-on quality to how these amps are made that you can feel when you play one. Not in a romantic, “handcrafted artisan” way — just in the sense that the people building them care about the result, not the production quota. Players who’ve spent years going through gear tend to land on Bogner and stop looking. That’s not a marketing line. It’s just what keeps happening.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions — from first-time buyers to longtime fans.

What shipping options are available, and how long does delivery take?

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping takes 5–7 business days, while expedited options are available at checkout for faster delivery. Tracking information is sent via email once the order has shipped.

What is the return policy?

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is in its original condition and packaging. To initiate a return, customers can reach out through the contact form on the website. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.

How should the equipment be maintained?

Regular maintenance goes a long way. Tubes should be inspected periodically and replaced when they show signs of wear — typically every one to two years depending on usage. Keeping the unit in a dry, ventilated space and avoiding exposure to extreme temperatures helps maintain consistent performance. A qualified technician should handle any internal servicing.

Are there different models suited to different playing styles or venue sizes?

Yes — the lineup includes options ranging from low-wattage units well-suited to studio work and smaller venues, to high-powered heads designed for larger stages. Each model has its own tonal character, so it’s worth reviewing the full spec sheet or demo recordings before deciding.

Is there a warranty, and what does it cover?

A limited warranty is included with every purchase, covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The standard warranty period is one year from the date of purchase. Damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear is not covered. Warranty claims can be submitted through the official support channel.

How can customers get in touch with support?

The support team can be reached through the contact form on the website. For faster assistance, it helps to include the model name, serial number, and a clear description of the issue. Response times are typically within one to two business days.

Tones That Don’t Lie

Every note you play, heard exactly as you meant it — because an amp this honest leaves no room for excuses, only the pure, unfiltered voice of your guitar.

Bearded man yellow background

I’ve played through a lot of high-end heads over the years, but the Ecstasy is the first amp where I genuinely stopped tweaking and just played. The EL34 channel has this warmth that sits in a mix without fighting anything.

I don’t own a Bogner head — yet — but the La Grange pedal has been on my board for over a year. It’s the most touch-sensitive overdrive I’ve found. My picking dynamics actually mean something through it.

Man wearing baseball cap

Theo K.

Bought the Shiva on a whim after borrowing one at rehearsal. The clean-to-crunch range on a single channel is something I’ve never experienced in another amp. Three months later, my other heads are collecting dust.
